Best Website Providers

best website providers.

When you’re looking for the best website providers, there are a few that come to mind, but you may be surprised to which one I would actually rule as supreme.

Types of Providers

You can actually look at providers in a couple of different ways. There are those that will supply you with hosting, and you will create and upload your website to them by paying for a package that contains your hosting. These companies allow you to create your site using software packages you may own to upload your creations onto their servers.

Others will list themselves as website builders where they are still providers, but you can only build a site on their particular platform. Most of these are not transferable to other providers unless they use WordPress.

Here are what some would classify as the best website providers:

best website provider1. inmotion
2. arixe
3. justhost
4. bluehost
5. GreenGeeks
6. WebHostingPad
7. HostGator
8. DreamHost
9. GoDaddy
10. hostmonster

Here are the ones that many would classify as the best website builder providers:

best website builder providers1. Wix
2. eHost
3. Weebly
4. Shopify
5. WordPress
6. Bigcommerce
7. WebsiteBuilder
8. SquareSpace
9. Jimbo
10. Sitey

Above are just 20 sites listed from all the available providers just brought up under different search terms. Each and anyone of them will host your websites, and the order in which they show doesn’t depict their ranking.

Depending on which sites you search to see how they rank, they will rearrange them in order or replace some with others depending on their ratings they select and methods to grade them.

The thing you need to know is that there are a vast amount of providers available to choose from when wanting to have an online presence.

Selecting a Provider

When you’re considering on having a website you need to think of what it is you want to do with it:

Give an online presence to an existing business.
Share content with friends and family.
Share content to the world.
Start an online business.

selecting a provider

Give an online presence to an existing business

When you just want to have an online presence to an existing business, there are two main things you need to think about when choosing a provider. Are you just relying on a site people can go to when they already know who you are or do you expect the site to create opportunities for you?

What I mean by the site creating opportunities for you, is if somebody is looking for a product/service, when they enter their search into a browser your site will be brought forward.

Most people will want others to find them in directories or through searches for the products/services they offer.

Just to have a site for those who know you or get directed by business cards etc. could use a free or very simple package. The majority will require much more and get involved with marketing and SEO.

Share content with friends and family

In most cases for anyone wanting to share content with friends and family, you could just simply see about getting the best free package to create this type of site.

This site could be something as simple as a digital scrapbook that you create to share with people you know around the world. Why pay for domain names and hosting and all the other things when you will personally contact and give your URL and password to those you choose to have access.

Share content to the world.

This idea could go a couple of ways depending on what you’re planning on doing. If you do not require a specific domain name to represent an organization, then you could use a sub-domain. You could use a free site package to get the word out and deal with the proper SEO and marketing techniques to get the ranking you’ll require to get the word out.

Start an online business.

When considering to start an online business, it is imperative to who you chose as a provider. You can use a sub-domain, but it is best to have your own. The type of platform you want will also dictate to what you can create. The provider you use will charge you accordingly for the packages involved to have access to the functions and features you feel required to have the flexibility you want.

Not all providers will be able to give you the type of flexibility you may need, so check around to find the best match for your requirements.

Best Website Providers I’ve Seen

The best ones I’ve read about and know of people using are Wix, Weebly, Squarespace that offer reliable packages with excellent support for what they have for the money. BUT above all of these, there is a different sort of provider. None of the websites that do reviews about website providers, or website builders talk about what I’m about to mention.

That’s because all these providers have one main thing in common. You can either use their website builder or some allow you to create a site offline and upload it to be hosted by them. Most will also enable you to purchase domain names through them and will have support and training for their platform.

They offer you a place to build and host a website, and that’s it for their functions and features for your online business. Everything else you need to go elsewhere on the Internet to become successful.

I use to use these types of providers, and they are excellent for what they do and supply, but now I’m with a different provider.

best website builder best of the best

What I have come to discover is the ultimate website provider that is the entire package. They offer the best free package with the least amount of limitations and most flexibility. Their paid package and they only have the one which gives you everything with full access. So where the other sites get you started and finish with just a site, my #1 recommendation takes you from the beginning of creating a site to becoming successful online with your site.

When you’re looking for the best website providers, there is one provider that surpasses them all. Wealthy Affiliate will show and guide you from beginning to end with your site so you’ll have a successful business and not just sit in limbo with a website.

This is an excellent post. It really helped me a lot. I have been trying to find great website providers for a while. They one I was referred is on your list. Which is bluehost. I’m going to give it a shot and let you know how it goes for me. Thank you for the information.

Are these in order or randomly listed?

Some sites that do reviews would say they are in order, but I know from researching that you could mix them up a bit, and some would still say they are in order. It comes down to how the different sites rate the data they collect on these sites. The thing to note is from all the possible providers out there these rank the highest to most people.

I have never used Bluehost myself but have heard a lot of good things about what they offer for the money and how they support you as a member with one of their packages. If you only need a place to have a site, and you already know how to do all your SEO, marketing and dealing with social media, etc., then they will be okay.

If you’re like most people, and you do not know all the in’s and out’s of building a successful business online then just having a hosting provider will be useless to you. You will need to connect yourself with many different sites to help you with SEO, marketing, and social media among other things. You can do that or save yourself a lot of time and money by joining the thousands of us at Wealthy Affiliate. By going premium you’ll have full access to learning and stay up to date with all the changes happening with the Internet to make sure your business is successful.

Great to have you drop by and like you have discovered Wealthy Affiliate has a lot to offer. I’ve dealt with other providers for around ten years and have now been with Wealthy Affiliate about eighteen months now and find them so much better than the others.

I would like to have discovered them sooner but better late than never.

My friend used wix for his biz but soon found out that it had limitations he couldn’t live with. Now he has changed his publishing platform.

WA does have its limitations too, but is probably one of the very best out there for beginners to online biz. It lets you buy your domain name, enjoy top notch security, gives speedy support, and even includes a keyword research tool–no upsells. With a 30 GB limit, i host photos for my website elsewhere.

All providers will have some form of limitations depending on the company. Checking out the functions and features to know and understand just what is offered and what you require are something everyone needs to look at when choosing a provider. One of the best things to do is be aware of the fact that if you can transfer your site from one provider to another, this will save a lot of time and problems. If you outgrow a provider and they can not give you what you need, then you can certainly find one that can.

You need to look at everything the provider offers you for the content and services with how much it will cost you and make the best decision from there.

Hi there
Thanks for sharing your views on the best website providers. It`s hard deciding which provider to chose when one is just getting started with so much out there to chose from.
When I got started, I chose Godaddy as my provider but what I did not like is their upsells and made me feel they did not really care about my success than they cared to make more money from me.Soon after I read somewhere about Wealthy Affiliate and the siteRubix and made a move.Must say this was one of the wise decisions since I started my online Journey.
Personally, I do not share my content with family, like most people I know, they believe working and maybe making money online is fantasy or scam so I prefer to leave them out of it.
I have really enjoyed your post, there are some website providers I had not heard of before reading your post.Like you, Wealthy Affiliate and SiteRubix is the best website builder with everything made so easy and in one place.
Very informative article,thanks for sharing.

As you mentioned for newcomers, there are a lot of providers to choose from when you’re looking to start an online presence. For most people money is one of the biggest issues and when you’re seeking to build a business, you can start to eliminate many providers if you look at the bigger picture. By that, I mean the whole process.

When it comes to having just a site, then there are over half a dozen great choices but as you look into the big picture that you will require to learn and understand SEO and marketing the decisions end up dwindling fast. So far I have only found one that offers a full package which is Wealthy Affiliate.

You could choose one of the other top providers, but you’ll pay out a lot more money once you consider the cost of learning and implementing all the extra money spent to learn about SEO and marketing. For seasoned marketers, this may not be the case, but for the tens of thousands of newcomers looking to get an online business each year then that’s a different case.

Wealthy Affiliate is one of the best and lowest prices for what you get on the Internet.
